And you thought pump-action guns were cool...TVIKT entry Answered

Well you obviously haven't seen the Knetix L-SAR prototype.  The lever-system assault rifle introduces a whole new concept that can easily be improved (in fact, I need some ideas on how to get it to pull back further, so if you have any, leave a comment).  It being a prototype, it does not perform well at all, so I made removable firing pins-one that gets about 45-50 feet with one rubber band, but you have to pull it back manually, and one that you use the lever to pull back, but only gets about 15 feet, and is very unreliable (I explain that more in the video).  It also introduces a new magazine that is also very innovative, being a top loading mag with an internal pusher-kind of like ironman69's with the bendy rod, but still it's own thing.  I  am very proud of this gun and I hope that people can come up with ideas to increase the pull-back capacity of the lever, so it can perform as well as with the manual pin.  Here is the video link: www.youtube.com/watch

Got any internal pics of this?

dude post

Ya I'm planning on it I just don't have the peices to improve it and I had wanted to do that before I posted it.

You could buy individual parts off of knex.com.  I got about 350+ parts for 30 bucks not including shipping.

Ya but I try to get them off of ebay since you can get maybe 1500 peices there for around $30 .  I'm low on money so I try to get the best deals I can.

I once got the best deal off Ebay ever! I got 3500 pieces for $15! No pieces broken at all as well.

Dam you got lucky.  I once got 2000 for 20 i think but you completely scammed that person lol

Yeah, but on the description of the knex it said that he has long grown out of his knex and he was selling it cheap and fast.

Maybe he was fleeing the country...

you can post it with my idea.
just destroy it a little bit
then make that point that you destroy agian.
take a pic and repeat it

i hope u can read it :P

When posting my guns, I usually take it apart in sections, then take it apart into smaller sections, that way I don't completely forget how it went.

that gun is SICK :) do you think you will post it

Did you make instructions anywhere? You said you might post it last year.

this gun looks well cool

yeh init boss.

Something can't be 'well cool'.

No offense but i just... don't like it. No real reason why, I just don't :L

The only real reason I can think of that makes people not like this is that it's weak if you use the lever.  But this is a concept to be improved on, he is focusing on innovation, not power.

plzz sent me the me the steps,
this gun is great!! :D

I am going to post this soon-I've been kind of biusy lately (I'm really gettin into airsoft) but they will be up soon I'll let you know when they are

 looks sooo awesome!

This is good.

Try a lever setup like the one I had on my oodammo pistol, it had the same size ram, shot oodammo and had more rb's on, range was like 30 feet max ( I measured 31 feet).

when you post this, after im done posting MY new gun, i'm making this and modding the crud out of it. also, an easy way to make the lever action work better is by having it move a pump to move the firing pin-it'll be lever AND pump action!

my little rifle/sword/battering ram friend. made using katarukito's new mech.

Sounds cool, but what new mech are you talking about?

That mech is more than a year old.  I was still a new knexer when Kat posted it upon my request.

crap. didnt look at the date. well, i used it and it works incredibly well if you modify it a bit(in my case the RB mount was a bit below the trigger mech, causing jamming) by adding a red connector and a white rod just behind the part that holds the ammo in.

First off try hitting the spell check before you type. I have had that happen a few times and that fixed it.
Second you might want to post a bug report.

It's not so much that it won't let me type, but it doesn't let me see what I am typing

Use Mozilla Firefox. I had the same problem 'till I switched.

For some reason, though, with firefox, I can see what I am typing, but when I hit "post", the box just disappears and nothing show

Hmm. Well, I can at least...

I just find posting as links more reliable, but I guess this will work

You need to submit a bug report so that they can get it fixed. More people then you are having this problem.
