Bluetooth Arduino+Android Help Answered

Hey everyone, so I cam currently working on a project that is a Android Bluetooth controlled  Door lock with the Arduino. Ive searched a lot online for information on how to setup/config the arduino to my android device (tablet/phone). Ive seen plenty of instructables here on how to do such a thing, but none of them seem to be clear for me. Here is what I am trying to do:

Send commands from my Android device to the arduino that will output a signal to an electronic door lock.

Im not asking for someone to do this for me, just want some documentation / Beginner Tutorial on what has to be done to communicate the two together via bluetooth. All the help possible would be greatly appreciated! :)

I can't point to any specific tutorial, unfortunately, but I had pretty good luck using the Amarino toolkit for this sort of thing: http://www.amarino-toolkit.net/

If you like, PM my Instructables account and I'd be glad to send my sample code I got working (IIRC, a tilt switch on Arduino triggered a notification sound on Android; no biggie, but might give you something to start from).

Thanks, I shall do that. I was thinking on how I can re-phrase my question; What has to be done in the sketch to make the arduino and android device communicate?
