Building a 25 foot set of stairs? Answered

I would like to know how to build a one run set of stairs (25 foot) to be used as access to river.

I've seen big concrete pillars poured in the ground like stepping stones. You just need like 12 or so 2' diameter concrete form tubes (from the hardware store), sink them vertically in the ground where you want a step, knocks some stakes in the ground for more support, and fill em up. Peel off the tube when it's cured.

It all depends on what you want to do. Are you carving stairs into the existing surroundings, making stone steps, or building from wood?
