Coming Soon: Paracord Contest Answered

Next week we'll be starting a paracord speed contest. Make anything out of paracord to win a Leatherman with a laser-etched message of your choice!

You can include other materials or wrap the paracord around something else, but the main focus of the Instructable should be all about the paracord.

So start thinking of some ideas soon to show off your paracord skills.

He'd have to make a new Instructable to win it. This is for new Instructables only.

What if it's a project that could use paracord, if you had any?

In the UK any army surplus store will stock paracord, often by the reel in 100s of metres, I don't think you'll find it cheaper anywhere else...

Except for the lack of any actual army surplus stores within half a day's drive.

Already ordered from ebay.

I have half of what I ordered - as far as I can find, my idea is genuinely original.

And when does it start? It's probably written some where but my tired eyes can't find it.

must the paracord be an essential part or the bigger part of the project?

It must involve paracord in some way. Since it's a paracord contest, I'd recommend making the part that uses paracord be pretty interesting and not something to just hold a few pieces together.

Wow, a leatherman would be nice...  Do you think you could get an image etched on it instead, such as the Instructables robot? And do you know if old 'ibles will be accepted or only new ones?

Like imrobot said, it's a speed contest because it will only be open for 2.5 weeks.
