Comment indentation with new comment border updates Answered

I found a bug with the new comment update.

In a chain of comments, if you pick one, then click reply, the box shrinks slightly as it should for a new comment so you can see it's indented. When you click cancel though, it doesn't go back to its original size. Clicking reply and cancel again shrinks it more.

Woops!

Thanks for spotting this bug - we'll get on it.

Rather than post a new bug, I found again today that the hyperlink button doesn't work. I's annoying to write something, then have to close the tab and start again, editing source because the box won't load-up.

Maybe Lemonie's was just slow and so he assumed it wasn't working. Upon clicking the hyperlink button above, the screen turns an opaque white, I then wait a long time for the box to come up at which point I see the timer bar to show it's still thinking then about 5 seconds later I can use the box.

(Windows XP SP3 w. FF 3.5.7)

I'm talking about leaving it 5 minutes, then giving-up.

I just inserted a link and everything worked as it should.  Perhaps I'm not understanding the bug correctly?

It's intermittent, which is why I've held off on the bug report. Maybe it's a connectivity issue, but if you hit the link button and it fails you need to reload the whole page and lose your typing. (yes it works today)

This also works with the flag window. Good catch

The comment box resets itself when you reload the page, so I don't think that you can actually cause any harm with the behavior.

Okay :)

I just thought I'd point it out just in case. Guess this can be moved/deleted now :D

Oh yeh.... Windows XP SP3 with FF 3.5.7
