Contest not for Poles? Answered

Hi
I think this is a question for administrators/organisers the Deceptive Desserts Contest but if anyone knows the answer please let me know:
Why residents of Poland are excluded from taking part in this contest?
I am Pole and I would like take part in the competition, apparently I can't, just don't understand why. Are there some legal regulations?
Or maybe I am misunderstanding below??

THE CONTEST IS OPEN ONLY TO NATURAL PERSONS WHO, AT THE TIME OF ENTRY, ARE REGISTERED MEMBERS OF THE SITE, WHO ARE AT LEAST THIRTEEN (13) YEARS OLD (FIFTEEN [15] YEARS OLD FOR RESIDENTS OF NORWAY AND EIGHTEEN [18] YEARS OLD FOR RESIDENTS OF GERMANY), AND NOT RESIDENTS OF ANY COUNTRY SUBJECT TO A US TRADE EMBARGO (AS OF APRIL 2014 NORTH KOREA, SYRIA, SUDAN, CUBA AND IRAN) AS WELL AS: BRAZIL, ITALY, ARGENTINA, TURKEY, ROMANIA, POLAND, OR THE PROVINCE OF QUEBEC, CANADA.

Thank you in advance, Marta

There is no problem with sending the prize - I have friends here and there around the world. But apparently as a resident of Poland I can't take a part in the contest and I do not want to bother anyone with creating an account and submit my works...

Get your government and the US government to make friends, everything will be fine. ---> I am not sure I have enough time as the contest lasts till 18th of April ;)

They don't ask for your details when you enter, just if you win. You don't have to get anybody else to make an account - when you win, they send you an online form to fill in the delivery details, so you just pretend you live at your friend's address (give your own name, and their address).

**This next bit is not official advice, but it works.**

If you win, and you have a friend or other contact in a permitted country, you can give their address as yours. The prize will get sent to your friend, then your friend can send it to you.

Its a gaming law issue, nothing personal. Many countries based on English common law permit winning prizes based on skill, other countries do not

Because of trade embargoes and gaming laws between Poland and the US they can't send you the prize or accept the entry.

Politics is in the way, Instructables is based in San Francisco Ca US and must abide by US Law the laws of other countries and their provinces as well as trade agreements.

It's not that they don't want your entry, they can't accepted it.

If you know someone in a country they can accept the entry, use their address and your friend can accept the prize and send it on to you.
