Converting sounds into motion without a microcontroller Answered

I want to build a circuit which converts 3 specific frequencies into a voltage, then to be used by 3 different servos, I don't need to use a microcontroller!! what should I use other than microphone, op amp, 555 timer, servo and comparator for this circuit? 
Which one is better LM567 OR LM2907 to convert the frequencies?

The 567 has the selectivity you need. The rest should be pretty simple. 555 generating a 50Hz ramp etc.

Steve!! that's great to see your reply!! the 567 is it better than the 2907? because the frequencies might be in the same range!! how is it better?

The 567 is designed to be tuned to the frequency you want to pick up. Put three in for three frequencies. Otherwise, you need a three-way window comparator.

Steve!!!So, The 567 works for a signal coming from a microphone condensor? Also, How can I tune it? I am sorry for these questions!! but I am just a beginner. Thank you :)

Things "work" when you design them. Amplify the mic signal, pass it to three 567s. Adjust the RC networks around them to pick the frequencies of interest.

It really is simpler with a microcontroller, or make the frequencies of interest the same as those of standard phone DTMF signals.

Your going to find this hard going without the microprocessor at least to control the servos

The above cct gives you 3 filters to seperate out high med and low frequencies. Although it gives an output to LEDs it will show you the principles involved.
