DC to AC Converter Circuit Answered

Hi, so I have a sound amplifier that is designed to run off of 18-28V AC power, but I want to try and run it off a 24V Battery, can anyone give me a circuit that would achieve this?

Seen lots of them. They historically were done with 555 chips for low amperage. Search for electric cattle fences as a start.

That's because it's rather complicated. You basically have to take the DC input, make sure it's good and steady. Then you need to oscillate the current at the required frequency. 60Hz US and 50Hz most other areas with many exceptions. It would be easier to take the existing wall wart and use it on an inverter plugged into the battery.
