Dimensioned drawing for three-hole mount on A-frame trailer hitch? Answered

I am trying to find the technical specs for the mounting hole that a powered tongue jack goes through on a A-frame trailer hitch. There's a big hole in the center for the tongue jack post, and three bolt-hole in a triangle around it. But what are the hole diameters and positions? P.S. I've gone through an hour or so of Google searching, and called three different "manufacturers." There are lots of trailer plans on the Web, but they're for-sale.

"...It fits most 2 5/16 inch couplers, and it has a 2 3/16 inch diameter shaft and a 3 inch triagular bolt pattern. "

I guess 3 inches between bolt centers in a triangular configuration about the center. Don't know what size bolts though, got to research the mounting hardware...

Thank you! Could I ask what search terms you used? When I went to Gorvx, I didn't find the pattern description you quoted.

I don't remember but I was modifying the search words as I went along, something like tounge jack bolt ... The only experience I have with trailers is being in a double-wide. That was like being in the Taj Mahal.

. A quick search turns up several references to "standard" jack mounts, but I can't find the standard. :( . I'd grab a tape measure and head to the nearest boat/RV store.

Right. Did that, don't trust the measurements enough to fabricate a part. Want a drawing or spec :-) Caitlinsdad has, I think, given me what I need.

You know, there's just something about the structure of that last sentence, the joining of the phrase-clause-phrase with the commas (or is it the other way around...?), that I love for some reason.

It's something, I think, learned from the William Shatner school of over-commenting, adds a je ne sais quois quality to a post.
