Does anyone know how to build a body-style of Glidecam for under 100? Answered

I don't feel like shelling out 25 benjamins for a body-styled glidecam.

does anyone know how to make one for under 100$? If so, I would like plans, please.

Thanks in advance!

Type "steadycam" into the search box in the upper right corner of every Instructables page.

So the second hit wasn't what you wanted? Looks an awful lot like a homebrew version of the picture you posted. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean it isn't there.

I must've missed it. the word 'bicycle' threw me off. thanks for pointing that out, though. although that's not quite what I'm looking for.

Is it something you can adapt? Keep in mind that this is a user community, contributing their own projects for fun. The best use you can make of an Instructable is as inspiration to do what you need for yourself. Then make an I'ble of your own to inspire the next person. Good luck!

I'll keep that in mind. If the project is successful, expect an I'ble!

I just thought I'd see if anyone had any Ideas to contribute.

Try some of the existing 'ibles on the subject ? They are nothing like as sophisticated as the real thing, but considerably cheaper. Steve

And at least the version with the weight on the bottom of the pipe works pretty darn well.
