Everything connects to wifi but my PC.? Answered

I recently moved into a new apartment and after receiving the code to the wifi that is included I started connecting all my devices. My xbox 360 connected flawlessly as well as my Droid 3. But my PC simply will not connect, I am running Windows 7 64bit with a Linksys AE2500 wireless adapter.

Quick note: I have checked that IPv4/IPv6 are set to automatically set to obtain IP Addressees and the DNS Server.

If I had a dollar for everyone with a win 7 wifi problem, I'd be rich....

Try going through the troubleshooting on this link (its faster than me typing out most of the suggestions).

If that doesn't help, let us know.

This did not help me any unfortunately :/ I can connect to my mobile phone hotspot and it would connect fine to my old router. It just seems to not want to connect to the new router.

If it will connect to other networks? It's possible, but it's a long-shot...

Oh... and I've seen just about as many issues with Macs connecting to WiFi as Win 7 computers... just sayin... ;)

Does it connect to the network and not to the internet, or is it not connecting to the network at all?
