Evidence of Time Travel! Answered

I'm not sure how I managed it, possibly it's a result of running the washing machine, tumble dryer and my coffee machine simultaneously, but I appear to be posting from seven and a quarter hours in the future.

Check out the image below for proof...

Or maybe it was csharyk's fault?  He's interested in woowoo tech, maybe he pulled me in after something he did elsewhere / elsewhen?

Update: it's spreading!  (second image)

(I think I'll move this thread to Bugs)

(If it's important, I made that screenshot at about 10:13am, UK time)

I polished my stopwatch, to get a Timer-sheen...

I'm getting the same bug here for the past few days.

In the recent answers section, the top few posts are regularly posted anywhere from -11 to -280 minutes ago.

I saw that to, and took a screenshot. However, today it doesn't interest me as much.

I was actually excited there; following the recent hypotheses and experiments on neutrinos I thought that this would at least be real. I am disappoint.

I'd love to see how you end up harnessing this power...!

"I built a time machine. It only goes forward at regular speed. It's essentially a cardboard box and on the side I wrote 'Time Machine'."

Somebody forgot to go off DST.

BST/DST only alters by an hour...

But, depending where the Instructables servers are based - and the route(s)  Kiteman's posts took, they could well read the cumulative time difference(s) incorrectly.

However, given the still-fairly-recent news about apparently-time-travelling particles (from the LHC in Cern, I think), I much prefer this post's title as an explanation..;-)

Not the LHC, the CNGS neutrino beam, as detected by OPERA.

Ah! - Thanks. I knew it shouldn't have been the LHC, as there'd have been a lot more fuss if it was. But I couldn't bring any other to mind :-$

There's no forgiving you, I'm afraid - you're to be taken out back and shot. Unforgiveable, I say!

But only a handful of active posts are affected...

A handful yes, but an ongoing handful. It almost sort of looks like posts are getting either a local (instead of server-side) timestamp, or else the timestamping is hosed depending on which backend machine is doing the work.

The posts in this thread from joespicnictables and JamesRPatrick are both stamped hours into the future (it's 11:57 am Pacific time now, and James' post will be at 6:38 pm tonight, joe's at 12:43 pm this afternoon).

It was indeed a very LIMITED time rift.

Kiteman, I told you about your "riding in the tumble drier while the washing machine was going at the same time LOL
