So i was wondering, as christmas is coming up, is near on £600 worth this? Because if i got this for christmas this would cover my birthday present a which is a bout a month after christmas. (34 days after)

Better deals at ebuyer for example   It depends what you intend to do with it.

Ipad mmm my son has one but apps costs tend to mount up it's a bit gimmicky and NEW so will be buggy. What do you want it for?

The above is quite good as it comes - needs win & from amazon at about £80 - you may want to add another 2 gig memory and if your needs are such a decent graphics card

@rickharris The computer i mentioned is double the price but 4x more powererful. I'm not sure. I think i mhgt go for the ipad.

Just get a touch it is a ipad except not as big it also has a camera the only thing an ipad has that the ipod touch doesn't have is 3g which you may not even get

Can't answer the question since I don't know how much machines are going for in the UK. The best way to answer that is to do some price shopping on the web and in local stores, to see how much similar machines are going for... or find someone who knows your market.

When pricing desktop PCs, remember to figure in the cost of the display, which is usually (but not always) sold separately... unless you already have a suitable display, of course. Note that if you're willing to settle for a CRT rather than a flat screen, used CRT displays can be found VERY inexpensively -- sometimes free.

Note that you might get better prices if you wait for post-christmas sales.
