How can I transport water up into a tank that is 10m vertically above? Answered

Hi Instructablers,

As what mentioned in the topic, I am thinking of transporting water from my leaking pipe back into my tank which is roughly 10m above?

Lets not talk about replacing the leaking pipe.

Help help help!

Possible that the leak is not a "defective" pipe, but just something loose, or a bit o dirt in the wrong spot.

Hi, nope. It is actually supposed to be like that. Just assume the leaking is unavoidable (It is desired actually), is it possible to collect them with a container and use a ram pump to pump the water up to 4m height tank?

yes, ram pump can work, if you have a running stream With enough flow.

May i ask the purpose of the leak?

is the pipe leaking because it rusted out? Or because someone forgot to use teflon tape for a threaded fitting? Or a solder joint that was inadequately fluxed? Or?

You don't want to fix the problem so your options are:
Buckets, bottles sponges or simply a pump.
But I gues I don't really want why...
