A good friend and I did one, it was a wholly unsatisfying incursion into the ibles digital domain.

I just discovered that the feature actually still is here! Go to the top right, and click on your icon, click on your instructables. You will see six things to click on: Published, Drafts, Collaborations, Favorites, Collections, and Draft Collections.

But you probably don't care. XD Thanks for your answer! :D

Actually I have kept informed and you will note ... it was only the experience of collaboration which I spoke about.

Yes I knew about collaborations were/are active in fact for you I am adding a step in it tonight with your name just for the pleasure of collaborating.

Thanks! I was asked by a friend of mine, to collaborate with him. I didn't know how, so I asked this question. We are working on a collaboration right now in fact! ;)

AFAIK this feature was discontinued.
You have to revert to Email, Skype (or similar) and social media to get in contact.

The old collab feature wasn't particularly helpful. It may have allowed two or more accounts to edit one Instructable but in the end only the person who created the actual Instructable got the views and won prizes. If you setup a document in Google Docs you can both write on it at the same time and then the Instructable owner can just paste the final copy into the guide.

It's also common courtesy for the person that publishes the Instructable to give all collaberators a shout-out and link to their profiles.
