How do you delete draft collections?? Answered

Is there any way to delete draft collections?
I made 4 of the same collection because of a clicking error and now I can't delete them.

You know, I don't think you can - you can remove projects from the collection, but the landing page for the collection remains.

If it's stressing you out, just drop a line to HQ and ask them to delete it, but I would suggest you also start a Feedback topic and request the ability to delete your own collections (and, given recent activity, it would be nice to be able to flag collections as well...).

I have just finished using the three drafts so I won't make that mistake again (hopefully:)

I would also like to clean up my collections. Is there still no plan to give an option to delete some of the drafts (e.g. empty accidently created folders)?

I know this post is old, but I wanted to update from April 7, 2016. Here is a reply from HQ when I sent them an email about it:

"Hi,There currently isn't a way to delete draft collections. This is something that our developers are working on, but at this time it is not an option.

Sorry for this inconvenience.

Best,

Support Team @ Instructables"

So, best option: re-use that draft collection for something else until this gets fixed at HQ. Best of luck! :)

Boy, the developers really take a long time to create such a basic function!

Why is there no delete function for drafts?

All that I see is a category drop down

A channel drop down

Preview, Save and Publish links

Why should a contributor have to ask HQ to delete? That is absolutely counterproductive.

someone needs to teach Instructables how to be instructable.

The collections can easily be changed to another topic but once you start an 'ible the url is set.

All you have to do is rename them and make other collections out of them.
