How to make a Geisha face for Halloween? Answered

My daughter wants to be an asian princess for halloween. I have an outfit (asian silk blouse and black satin shirt) and all I need now is ideas for accessories and how do to her make up. Thanks!

YouTube has a bunch of makeup tutorials, for all sorts of looks, so searching on YouTube "Geisha makeup" or "Geisha makeup tutorial" you'll get a lot.

This is the most "authentic" Geisha makeup application, which was part of a larger documentary film, but a lot of that makeup isn't easily accessible, so going for an easier tutorial like this one would be fitting for a young girl on Halloween. Then just make a bun for the hair maybe and put in two nice hair sticks, maybe clip on some flowers too, and that'll be nice. Maybe besides a trick or treat bag, she could also carry a fold up fan (which she could also make, with drawing on paper and then folding it up), or you guys could make an Asian inspired bag...

Though watch out...at least for me, watching makeup tutorials on YouTube can get addicting, and then you find other handy video tutorials and then you just lose your life to YouTube. :-P Good luck, and Happy Halloween!
