I have two shoelaces, tied together. What should I do with them? Answered

(I just replaced them w/ paracord. woot!)

If the fan belt on your car breaks, you could make a replacement fan belt with these shoelaces.  No, no, seriously, you'd be surprised at the amount of mechanical power you can transmit through a pair of good shoelaces.

Yeah... I think I got that advice, indirectly, from the Vault-Co guy. Also at one point he might have suggested the dust and dead bugs in your light fixtures could be a good source for soup stock.

But if you're lucky, you'll never be that desperate for calories, or for auto parts either.
;-)

Use them for a drawstring in your sweatpants or whatever - they're made to stay tied once you tie them.

Untie them and put them away for later.
