I recently took on a pallets business. Does anyone knows how to get customers for a pallet business? Answered

It has been very frustrating since I became a salesman for a mid-size pallet company. I took this job out of desperation because my unemployment compensation benefits were running out. The company offered me salary plus comision and I went for the challenge. But after 3 months and no sales I am again desperado. How is it that I know about salespeople that makes 1000 dollars weekly selling pallets? how do they do it?



It's mostly psychology, like chatting-up girls. To be honest, I never imagined pallets needed sales-persons, they're basic requirements and people look at them on a cost-basis.
Is this $1000 verifiable - you say "know about" rather than "know"?
Maybe someone else knows how far they can move the sale-price, i.e. they can shift volumes at low cost?


You have to find the customers that need pallets and give them a reason to buy from your company.  Very few people buy from a salesman just because the like him. They buy because they get a better price, more quality, better delivery etc.  Some of them buy becasue they get a kickback under the table though it's not what I'm reccommending.

Garage sales?


Supermarket warehouses, distribution centres, builders, factories in general, farmers... call them all, be positive, smile, offer good service and good deals.
