Step one this site is the premium EL buy site.
Then if you are wiring gifted. Does the pic scare you ?
I can show you how to switch different EL wires in sequence
based on the counter.
or do you want to use a uP.
You need a fabric stronger then a T shirt to support EL wire
There are some fine ibles to read up on too !

I am good with soldering, but circuit diagrams, no can do. I try, but they are difficult for me to understand. I have to say I have improved from not knowing how a circuit board even worked to designing my own from time to time. I have looked at the ibles, but I was hoping to talk to someone so I could ask my questions directly. That would be awesome if you could explain that pic above!

Starting simple circuit reading 101.

Use this as your course book first two black lines pages.
This PDF points out the way to wire a breadboard.

The main points you must understand are ;
  • The IC (Integrated Circuit pic#1) is numbered by the pins (pic#2).
  • But for convenience and ease of comprehension of the 555 circuit block
  • The pin numbers are not placed sequentially (pic#3).
  • The next things you must get familiar with are the short hand graphical representations of a Ground symbol the three lined one attached to pin_1of pic#3,
  • The Resistor symbol of R1,R2
  • The Capacitor symbol of C1 with polarity.
Is this what you wanted ??

All three are !
The point was the physical Integrated Circuit can be viewed differently
in electronics diagrams.

Thanks for your help! I am just waiting to get fifteen bucks. I have no source of income so it may be awhile.

Make something for a blabby ( talker type ) not necessarily your girl and
you may get guys with $$ paying you to something for their girls.
Charge 5 times your cost.
I made cleavage LED enhancers :-)

luckily the school year just ended and today is the first day of the summer with no school so I have plenty of time to get the money. This kind of stuff once I get going should be pretty awesome for all kinds of stuff, then I can do custom orders. I think before this I need to get some more parts for my scooter (I got it for free because the wheels were in bad condition and so were the grips, but hey, once I get it fixed it will be a really nice micro scooter). When I finish I will send you a message with a pic of the finished product.

this looks great! I think I get it now, a little bit. I still need to think about it but I should be able to do it with this info. So I don't need el wire in bulk, plus I need an inverter. Could you tell me if this is a good deal: http://tinyurl.com/glowire ?

As a rule amazon.com is a bit higher priced unless it includes the inverter.

This one has an included inverter. Would you say this is good enough and enough for a shirt?
