I'm leaving Answered

I'm leaving. But only for two weeks. I'm going back home to Minnesota. I'm not sure if I'll have internet access, but either way it will be greatly reduced. See you all in 2 weeks!

*sigh* I am sick of this kind of posts. Not that I'm jealous of everyone getting to travel but me [UPDATE - I went to a hotel for a week and I just finished planning my weekly trips around the island!] , but I'm just tired of oh so many:

Nah, he's not really that important that people will freak out in less than a month. People will causally wonder where he went, but unless he's been gone for more than 2 months, no threads.....comments maybe...but no threads

I live in MN where are you staying?

minnesota pride! And i get perfect internet, i don't know what you're talking about.

I could get it, but it would take a while to get it reconnected. I might mooch off of my neighbor for a week..... I'll ask them when I get there. MN pride!!!

I'm "back home" in Texas right now =D

I picked up a "satellite internet" type thing for my laptop, got a plan through Verizon. The plan comes with a 30-day free trial and you can cancel your plan before the trial's up w/o paying for the cancellation fee or anything!

And the actual adapter was $50 up front (on sale), with a $50 mail-in rebate. So the whole thing was free for us =D

The reception itself is pretty good. The speed is slightly slower than our regular at-home connection, but still alright. We get a good signal here, too, and Verizon is supposed to cover a good amount of the US.

Don't forget your XP CDs up there...

Well enjoy, hopefully you'll get your bike when you're down there...

Actually its here, its just broken. My mom's bike is there though....

Later dude! Have fun!

Thanks! I hope to use it for my new travel ible
