I'm wanting to make an X shaped insert for a rectangle wooden frame, and dont know at what angle to cut the ends. Answered

the point of the end would have to be at a 90 degree angle. if you think of how all triangules's angles add up to 180 degrees , and that the other to angles would have to be equal, then you can find out the other to angles to be at 45 degrees. I hope i helped

Scribe and cut to the line. There are mathematical methods, but they depend on what you want the ends to look like.

draw the frame in precise proportions scaled down on paper cut the x from paper and match on drawing draw then on the same drawing with the frame measure angles in drawing
