Is there any drawing software used to draw circles of any size? Coz for one project I need to make a templet of 4cm radius circle and inside the circle i need to evenly distribute 22 holes with size 2mm?

Word can do it...

Oh! You meant, software that WORKED. Ok.

Try Inkscape. Its free, its opensource, its fairly easy to use... Well, was for me... Which perhaps is not helpful since I learned how to use Photoshop by myself in the 5th grade...

Or go oldschool and do what lemonie said. Then divide 360 by 22 to find out the degrees between the centers of the holes. I'm not doing it for you because I want you to think and I'm too lazy.

If only you had a school-compass... L

hmmm...

equally spaced...

4cm radius has pi*4

^{2}= 50.26square centimeters...22 holes means they each get a footprint (personal bubble) of 50.26/22 = 2.285 square centimeters each.

solve for r

area = pi r

^{2}r = root(area/pi) = root(2.285/3.14) =~ 0.85cm radius each...if you use a circular hex grid, you can say that they will be 1.7cm apart (2 radiusses center to center)

SO:

go to http://incompetech.com/graphpaper/circle/

Set it to Centimeters - I used the values of .5 weight, 1.71 spacing and .2 multiplier.

I then printed the sheet, drew a 4cm radius circle with a compass, centered on a dot - and got 19 2mm holes. Not bad for a first try. That's the difference from 'pure' dividing the circle into area, and using the area as mixed circles (with wasted space).

(I'm typing this all out as I do it, experimenting from here...)

Attempt 2: 1.60 spacing, same other values. - and it moves them inward, but still just 19 dots...

Attempt 3: 1.60 spacing - same result if I center the 4 cm circle on a dot. If I offset so that the circle is centered about open space, I get...tada...22 - but some are very close to the edge.

19 works WAY better :D

Again...what are you building?

I just tried to make one...but stupid paint uses non-square pixels... I'll keep searching. What are you making? Shower head?
