Looking inexpensive pnuematic cylinders Answered

I am looking for a source for inexpensive pneumatic cylinders and related goodies, preferably in the Sacramento area. I am not above doing a little demolition work to get the parts ... in fact I rather enjoy it!!  All sizes can be used.

I have done those, screen door cylnders as well. But I do prefer the real deal for higher pressure.

they use flexible plastic hose about 4" in diameter for RV roof lifts. a air hose is installed in the hose wall and both end are glued shut and folded over. simple and it collapses very small.

How strong do they need to be? What is the final purpose for them?

Anything from 1" to 24" will do the trick. Mostly I use them for Halloween fun and education. I also need Solenoid Valves and related items. I had a pretty good collection before it was decided by another that it should all be donated to a worthwhile cause.

Look up the PVC pump builds by thekingofrandom on this website. maybe you can modify one of those piston pumps into a pneumatic piston. Use a sprinkler valve for an electric solenoid.
