Root it. Put what you want on it.

How? there is no usb cable that came with my tablet...and is rooting safe?

I've rooted all my Android devices, and not had a problem. What do you mean by "safe" ?

The thing has a micro USB connector, which is how you root it, and then you can put something like CyanogenMod 9 on it - ICS.

I define safe by not ruining my tablet or causing any damage to it. I am not a programmer so i don't really know how to root it.
Also my tablet does have a micro usb connector but it doesn' come with a usb cable to connect with my pc. Instead motorola made this thing called motocast to stream files between tablet and phone.

There's a simple, one click application that roots your device for you. Once that's done, you install a recovery tool which stops you ever bricking the device. THEN you can play with alternative roms. You don't have to be a programmer, just someone who can follow a script on a webpage.

Otherwise, you'll have to wait months. I've got an early Jellybean on my phone right now. It'll be an age until its available officially.

The manufacturers of older tech are in no hurry at all to spend the effort of rolling out a new version for their old hardware, when they're efforts are focussed on the new sales.....

Yes. Do your research and study the procedures carefully. Make sure you're backed up before you start. Once you're ready, its all straight forward !

Q3 is the third quarter of the year.
