Man injects himself with computer virus? Answered

It may seem strange, but a scientist has implanted an ID chip with a computer virus inside it into his body so that whenever he passes an ID scanner, the virus will copy itself onto the scanner and spread throughout the system. It was made to prove a point that if somebody were to create a virus for the ID chipping system, it would be easy and could kill somebody if they had, for example, a pacemaker. A scary thought!

Seems like the article is incomplete: what happened with the test? Was it successful? Presuming that it was successful, a peacemaker is not designed to read data or to create a short on any circuit or anything like that... so we are OK there. What is even more terrible, if the chips that US, UN or any world organization are trying to implement in human beings to encode data access to medical records and personal information are exposed to a virus, then it can access servers of information... now, that is scary. No more personal / private data anymore... Nice day and God bless!

...I'm going to be that crazy old guy that thinks "newer" technology is evil, be correct, then take out a few robots with a shotgun before dieing a peaceful death surround by angry machines.
Or not, one of the two ;-)
