Multiple Cell Phone Cameras as Connected Studio Cameras? Answered

I want to be able to use many old cell phone cameras as different sources to webcast a live feed of our church services using OBS (free multi-source video switching). How can I connect all of these cell phone cams to one computer?

I'm guessing the OBS forums will give you better results. Chances are someone has already done this there.

My guess is that you'll be able get it done by using an app to turn the phones into IP cameras and then using either OBS directly or a third party piece of software to have the PC recognize them as webcams.

If you do find a solution elsewhere, consider updating this post with said solution so people searching for the same issue in the future don't have to ask again.

Don't know where you got the number 55. Not a "be nice" comment. Of course we are going to switch from among the number camera we are going to use .

I really do not understand (trying to be nice).. Sorry, I used any estimate of a congregation of one hundred, some of who would use old cell phones.

I understood it was many more then one, and 50 would seem like a half. But then for this to mature into a real project I would think more then half so I added 5.

Ahaa, Just occurred to me, the parishioners are not holding the cameras, you must be mounting them.

But what is the purpose to switching like I imagine a TV studio and broadcasting a live feed to what audience ?

Are you trying to reaching people who cannot travel in a large rural area ?

Still at a loss ? There are no clues on your home page.

Your favorites are like mine, especially the seed propagation overnight... This new format is less informative let me add I have been a member since 2006... Raised as a Catholic and I now believe my communication with God does not need any intermediate interpreter...

Best regards in all your endeavors...

Seriously, OBS has the settings, now you just need to find the streaming software.I use IP Webcam Pro on my Android phones.

We've been streaming for years. Got that done. I hear or IP webcam but didn't know it would feed multiple cameras. Thanks.
