Multiple drafts? Answered

With many projects happening at once, how do I create multiple drafts. I seem to be able to only make one, finish, then start another. There is a counter but not the ability to multi task.

OK so right after I sent, I saw the publish button at the top of the page. I clicked on it and made another test project. This failed to save as noted by the center pop up notification then crashed my firefox browser. upon restart I had the second unpublished in my drafts folder. Looks like it works? not concerned since I now have a workaround and no longer have to pre write in word.

I could be just thick but I've just created a test scenario. But I still do not see any way to create a second unpublished instructable without deleting the first.

I page link through You, Instructabels, Drafts. Then write, and save NO Publish!
Am I doing this wrong?

You just save without publishing - I use the Instructables editor as a to-do list, so I have 215 drafts at the moment (most of which are just rough ideas that will never see the light of day).

am I missing the obvious? How do I create a new with one saved. I'm not seeing a way to do it. No tab, no button, no start new feature. Save button there. I use it since these are usually a multi day item for me.

Just use any other link to go somewhere else.

I agree, there should be a button along the lines of "save this and go to my orange board".

Just save your work, then use any other link to go somewhere else.
