Multiple tags with same id Answered

Hey, I noticed with the reply boxes that there are multiple html tags with the same id - something that is clearly invalid.
Just thought i'd point that out ;)

Can you please provide a screen capture and link to exactly what you are experiencing?

Is there a problem you are experiencing with how comments and replies are being displayed?

Ok, i found out a bug whois is a cause of this:
Already since pretty long when hitting 'add images' in comments themselves and uploading them directly here the images won't get displayed as a queue and upload 'invisible', but actually they are been displayed to the hidden queue, the one with the display:none, because of multiple tags with the same ID.

no, but i ran into a bunch of problems when i made a userscript and wanted to fetch by id - generally it is a bad idea to have multiple elements with the same id, that is what classes are for!
I could also imagine that if the developers don't notice this they may run into a problem due to duplicate ids at some point.

All reply boxes, or just on certain pages?

So far I only looked at OB and ibles comments, and that is because of the div with the comment template having display:none;
It uses the same ids as the displayed reply box.

OK. The development team read these topics, and they'll prioritise it depending on how much of a problem it is (personally, I have no idea, it's all tubes and valves to me...)
