Night Photos of Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch Answered

Jonathan Haeber shot some inspiring night photos of Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch.

Haeber gained access to Neverland somehow and shot many beautiful photos which are available on Flickr.

Apparently Jackson's 2,500 acre children-only amusement park was up for auction tomorrow due to a debt of $24 million that Jackson was carrying on the land. Luckily (?) it was announced yesterday that Jackson was going to be able to save the ranch from auction.

What's this got to do with Instructables? It's easy to see from the photos that just about everything in the Neverland Ranch is custom made and tailored specifically for the needs of Jackson and the children. Such craftsmanship, so unique, so well executed - could Michael Jackson be the ultimate Maker?

The way I see it, there's two Michael Jacksons. The dancing black guy (no racism intended) and that creapie white guy... Although seriously he did a cool moon walk.

ooh michael jackson. he is so good with children.

on a serious note* what do you think the R&D costed on something like NeverLand Ranch.

I didn't find the photos that "creepy"... As for Jackson's guilt or innocence; it's quite a shame that the line between affection and molestation has become so fine. I'm reminded of this comment from Another set of Forum Comments
Scenario: Johnny falls while running during recess and scrapes his knee. He is found crying by his teacher, Mary. Mary hugs him to comfort him.
1957 - In a short time, Johnny feels better and goes on playing.
2007 - Mary is accused of being a sexual predator and loses her job. She faces 3 years in State Prison. Johnny undergoes 5 years of therapy

There is a lot of art hidden in amusement parks. Carousel Animals in particular are frequent collectors items...

TOO BAD MICHAEL HAD BAD INTENTIONS FOR CERTAIN CHILDREN, HIS PRIVATE THEME PARK WOULD HAVE BEEN A WONDERFUL THING. NOW ITS JUST BRINGING BAD MEMORIES TO THE PARENTS WHO LET THERE KIDS BE SEDUCED BY THE GLITTER AND GLAMOUR THAT ONCE WAS MICHAEL J'S WORLD. IT IS UNFORTUNATE. NOW WE CAN ONLY STEP BACK AND REMEMBER HIS WORLD AS SOMETHING THAT CAN NEVER BE CHANGED BACK TO A GOOD PART OF HISTORY!!!HE WAS A VERY TALENTED PERSON TOO. BUT TO LOOK AT HIM NOW ONLY HURTS MANY OF US WHO GREW UP LOVING THE MUSIC THAT HE AND HIS FAMILY SHARED WITH US. WE FEEL SORRY FOR YOU MICHAEL,YOU ARE LOST FOREVER.

I'd love to see the plans for this place. Just to see if there were any anomalies in the plan. Secret rooms, walls thick enough for traffic etc... I wonder if they are available?

That front gate / statue is a bit creepy especially.

Wow, I can't believe the massive effort the must have put into making this place...for the children! Pictures of this place alone should be evidence in court that he was guilty...

Wow, i think i'm really creeped out now.... That was awkward to look at those photos!

I never knew that it was a full-fletched amusement park. The merry-go-round horses look amazingly designed.
