Homebrew is the use of unauthorized applications on a Nintendo product. These can include media players, emulators (play games from other systems on your DS!), Web browsers, and much more. Homebrew can be launched with a special adapter called a flash cart, which uses a microSD Card for its memory, making it easier to transfer files from the computer. Some different brands of flash carts are the R4 Revolution, M3 Simply, and Acekard2i. Flash carts are not sold in retail stores, but rather online.

Well even with a flash cart and homebrew there isnt a way to capture whats on your ds's screen and send it to your pc. The best try would be getting a DS Emulator and using a screen capture app to record the emulation. But that can be a strain on your computer if it sucks (like mine)

Unless you want to build a lcd controller that can do image scaling, don't even think of it.
