Pythagora Switch. Simply Amazing! Answered

Got this link from a friend. Some japanese kid show with Rube Goldberg-ish setups.

Whoever set these things definitely have lots of patience : -)

I love the one with the magnets at 2:16

Which is your favorite..?

Mythbusters did a section on a RubeGoldburg once, but I can't remember exactly why they did it LOL I just remember that is was extremely frustrating for them to get it to work all the way to the end.

Yikes my son (me, ha!) has to build one. This should prove interesting!

You should have seen the show. They had MAJOR problems getting that contraption to work :-)

There was an old BBC2 short film called Chain Reaction, very much like this but longer (5-10 minutes) and larger (it filled a warehouse floor).

I'm sure it's downloadable somewhere, but they also turned it into a Honda advert many years later.

Actually - a video like that would makea great Instructable challenge!

I found <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.videosift.com/video/A-pyromaniacs-Rube-Goldberg-chain-reaction">part of the video</a>!<br/>

. It's available, at the same site, on DVD, for a tenth the price.

Oops, Yoda I am becoming!

. Now that would really bring out the creativity. That sounds like a GREAT idea.

Definitely a great challenge!
But I also foresee spin-offs, how NOT to do it videos of frustrated folks smashing their setups :-)

That would be fun too..LOL

Someone has too much free time. Great video. Nice find.
