Starry String Lights? Answered

Hi all, first time poster, hoping I am putting it in the right spot. Last night my wife brought home these awesome "Starry String lights" from Restoration Hardware (http://www.restorationhardware.com/catalog/product/product.jsp?productId=prod1730031). They look fantastic in the house, but she tells me they are REALLY expensive per foot. I was wondering if anyone out there in the community has ever done a DIY version of these lights and if so, would you mind sharing your technique? I would love to string these in several locations but don't want to pay the outrageous price for them!

Thanks in advance,

Jake

Are they just christmas lights with really thin wiring? Or do they twinkle too?

I found quite a lot of results on google for "thin wire christmas lights" or "ultra think wire christmas lights". Do any of those look suitable?

Hey you're right.... Didn't think about that because I never saw these before yesterday. The ones she brought home do not blink, but that would be cool too. Doing the same search turns up a lot more options. Thanks!

You're welcome. My GoogleFoo is strong today :D That link you gave looked a lot like they'd rebranded some cheap lights to sell for more.
