I had an idea... You know how YouTube allows you to subscribe to a "channel" (an account)? Perhaps we should have that for our authors, or Ibl'ers or whatever we call ourselves. The Ibles Robot may be a bit busy, but his girlfriend/secretary might be willing to PM me whenever whoever I've subscribed to posts something new. Kiteman had a good point: Make Groups subscribe-to-able Just a thought.

An interesting thought, but if you're waiting for a particular style or theme of Instructable, then maybe you want to subscribe to a group instead?

For instance, if you're a fan of UV LEDs, there's no point subscribing to me because I'd be unlikely to do something similar again.

Actually, many of the regular 'iblers don't have a specific theme to their projects, so what you're really proposing is some sort of fan-club system. Not sure I approve of that, though I'm not sure why I don't approve. Gut instinct.

Yah, but it's not as simple, or cool, as getting the Ible Bot to notify you.

Eh, maybe, but I like RSS. Very convenient.

I agree with kiteman...but as Labot pointed out, you can subscribe via RSS for now. (Groups have RSS feeds to on the top left next to the name of the group)
