At the risk that some say "and I felt that this old man was crazy" I will say something, just in case someone has heard something similar:

Watch this video, and then read my comments (as rimar2000) a while ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMdUKHGHLFQ and tell me what you think.

I'm very intrigued with this subject. Here there are English references: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=sky+sounds&oq=sky+sounds&gs_l=youtube.3.0.0l2.98201.101882.0.104924.

The funny thing is that has been repeated throughout the world, and it is recent because there are no records of previous years.

that's really freaky. Saw some trumpet sound videos and they gave me goosebumps...

Thanks for your comment, Antzyp. I think should exist a NATURAL explanation. The case is that nobody has it, at least I have not read a convincing one.

I like the way you wrote natural in bold and not scientific. :D
I've graduated in science but feel it cannot explain everything at times.

Thanks, AntzyP. When somebody explains something in a way you can't understand, probably the explanation is wrong.

Our train station is downtown and although I live in the outskirts of my city I could still hear day and night the sound of the train. The sound in your video is very similar to what I hear.

Please read bicobo's comment and my response.

Thanks for your comment, blkhawk. That video is not mine, I saw it in Youtube. These sounds are not trains, nobody knows their origin. They can last hours, a train pass and goes.

That is strange because all the sounds sound simular.

It is VERY STRANGE. If you see many Youtube videos about these sounds, you could realize there are many differents patterns, some of them including repetitive explosions. What I heard was very similar in frequency and duration of each cycle to the first video of my comment.

I think three things are common to all: 1) you can not know where it comes from, 2) there is a repetitive pattern, 3) there are several harmonics.

Thanks for your comment.

Yes, it has a repetitive pattern and there are several harmonics, but I don't agree with "you can not know where it comes from" because someone does. I don't believe in any other explanation.

Interesting analysis, Kiteman, thanks for sharing it.

Yes, I have tinnitus, but it is fully different, is like a permanent SSSSSSSSS whose volume depends on my food. In example, if I eat something very grease and sweet –like a chocolate alfajor– the sound arise strong by two or three hours. But normally it passes unnoticed by me.

That I heard from my house was like lots of distant trucks honking their horns all together, with intervals of several seconds. I never heard anything like it before.

Please read bicobo's comment and my response.

Please give me the link of those persons that know the origin of those sounds, Nina. Obviously I think should exist a NATURAL explanation.

That I heard from my house was like lots of trucks honking their horns all together, with intervals of several seconds. I never heard anything like it before.

Reminds me of a open grate road surface on a bridge. It's the sound of a car going over that surface.

Thanks for your comment, yopauly. That I heard from my house was like lots of trucks honking their horns all together, with intervals of several seconds. I never heard anything like it before.

The English link you gave speaks of the noises as naturally occurring phenomena, but did not give much detail about an explanation. Whereas the English video was filmed in Canada, they spoke of the Northern Lights as the source. Whereas you live in the Southern Hemisphere, the cause could be the Aurora Australias or Southern Lights.

Hello Phil, thanks for your comment. I think that those phenomena related to Northern or Southern Aurora are privative of near-pole regions. Villa Elisa (my city) is ~35° South, far enough of the pole to discard that hypothesis.

Please read bicobo's comment and my response.

Osvaldo, este tema de los sonidos ha sido usado desde hace bastante en internet. Sobre este video en particular te recomiendo ver el análisis del mismo hecho en el siguiente link http://youtu.be/-khr3QyJxhI (está en español).

Osvaldo, this topic about sounds has being used from a lot of time at internet. About this particular video I suggest you take a look on an analisis about it at following link http://youtu.be/-khr3QyJxhI (spanish audio)

Hola, bicobo.
Hello, bicobo. It is possible that this video is fake, or I would say from the analysis of that boy, is almost certain. But I HEARD THE SAME here in Villa Elisa. It is very easy to disprove an isolated case, but there are loads throughout the world. I think this same thing happens with UFO sightings, there is never a final verdict. This reminds me of a Condorito's joke, telling the judge: "You have a witness who saw me steal, and I have thousands who did not saw me."
