Wouldn't be cool if someone made one of these for the LED competition? I definitely do not have the LED knowledge to do this.

I think I can make one, I'll do it later, I'm bussy as is. I found a seller on ebay who sells them for 10 cents a piece. Also I think I might be able to use highlighter, other people use it with black lights, so it might work. I'll time it with a 555 driving a transistor driving the leds. Time toggled by a potentiometer.

hehe, i made that bottom one.:). almost got the production ones done so soon you can all have one ;)

Ditto - I could stare at this thing for hours though! :-D

Definitely a candidate for Clarkes Law IMHO P.S. he should really get that dripping tap seen to!

I think I can redesign that with more simple components (like no programming) :)

Go on, then, you've got a week or two left ...

I dunno if I can do it, make it all up, order uv leds, shipping, etc. I'll try though

I've thought about it, and I don't think I can order up the LEDs in time, especially since most good ones are from china. Maybe I'll do the project later. Inless someone want sto give me a link to inexpensive high brightness uv leds that are sold somewhere in the us, preferably near PA.

Beautiful absolutely beautiful, that's all i can think, except for how to build this i already have a circuit plan forming in my head involving parts from and old radio a basic flasher circuit and now all I need is some steady drops...

I actually saw this (I think it was this or maybe something very similar) at the MIT museum. It was really cool.

Thats Fu&*ing crazy!! somebody needs to get a hold of that guy or figure this out an post it

Is there one of those emoticon things that means you jaw just bounced off the keyboard?
