Trying to make a table fan out of an old RC helicopter Answered

I had an old rc helicopter lying around and I thought I could make use of it by using it as a table fan to cool my pc, now I don't have the remote for it, nor the battery pack that came with it, all i have is the board and the motor.

I don't exactly know how these work but I've tried to connect the motor directly to a 9v dc transformer and it didn't go very well, the rpm was too low compared to what I would get when i used it with the helicopter's remote control, so my question is that, is there a way to increase the rpm on it without the remote control?

The remote is controlling an electronic speed control circuit to control the motor. If you can figure out how to tap into the receiver part or the ESC directly, you can move on. You also need to figure out what kind of motor you've got.

Yeah but again I have absolutely no knowledge on how to tap into the board, rest I can handle it.
I don't know what you meant when you said what "kind" of motor, if you're asking for the motor's voltage it has a capacity of 11.5 volts afaik, it's a dc brush motor the ones used commonly in most toys.
