hello from HQ,

Sorry to hear you are having troubles with out instructable editor. there are a few things that would be super helpful:

steps to reproduce the issue

this will be something like

1. go to www.instructables.com

2. login

3. use the link to /editInstructable from <describe the location of the link, and cite the URL of the page used>

...more steps until you reach the bug being reported.

Now grab a screenshot of the bug (show us what you are seeing, include the url bar in your screenshot)

try to reproduce the issue in a clean browser (chrome incognito window, firefox private window, etc)

and describe what you were using when you witnessed the issue. example: mac OSX10.10 Chrome browser

I went ahead and looked at this issue in:

mac OSX chrome, firefox, opera browsers (latest versions of each)

windows 7 VM ie9 and firefox browsers.

was unable to reproduce your reported issue. all links to /editInstructable were verified working as designed.

if this issue persists for you, please take the time to give consistent steps to reproduce, with some detail as to what you were using to reproduce the issue.

I tried it one last time on my Primary laptop.

https://www.instructables.com/editInstructable/

When I get to above link, There are few circles that keep blinking (Appears to be loading animation), After that, Nothing.

I am already PRO. That does not change anything. I think there were recent Technical changes on site that broke something. The site has gone heavier and editor fails to load. How that happens on 5 of my Machines is food for thought.

Thanks.

I'm afraid not.
Something has changed on Instrucables that made it incompatible with Opera. I've made 15 instrucables on the same system so nothing is wrong on my side.

I will try installing chrome and trying it again. However I hope admins take a good look at this as Opera is my fav browser.

I went by your Link, After a few Clicks,
I got redirected to-

https://www.instructables.com/editInstructable/

However, What i see here is just loading animation and nothing else for ages.

Also, the GO-PRO campain is obtrusively in progress. very annoying.

A slow load is (I think) a connection issue, rather than a site issue.

The standard advice is to clear your cache (especially if this is the first time you've tried to author a project since last month's update), reload the page and try again.

Regarding the adverts, if you manage to get a project featured and turn pro, the ads will go away, but if it is particularly annoying, then a topic in the Feedback forum, or an email to service@instructables.com might be in order.

If you hit the Publish button at the top of every page, you should get redirected to...

https://www.instructables.com/about/create.jsp

...which should look like the screen-grab below.

What page are you on when you click the button that sends you to the wrong place?
