Under water housing Answered

I have been looking for a cheap underwater housing for a camera. I can't find anything under $120.00 and I don't have access to plexiglass or acryclic. I am prefering under $20. Does anyone know how or what to do?

No access to plexiglass!!?? You might try heavy glass, and PVC. Or even large steel pipe and heavy glass. I imagine even regular glass would be good to 40 feet or so.

oh man! when i read the title i thought you were talking about under water houses, for people to live in....i feel sad now lol

I'm building a miniDV cam inside a woterproof housing after breaking the case, I'll post the project when I get it finished, seperate battery pack and built in USB cable...

Good grief, such a lot of money for plastic bags!

Hang on, this is what you need - it's practically an Instructable!

LOL, I've realised why it's practically an Instructable - check out the copyright at the bottom.

welll...when i went on vacation i put my camera in a plastic zip lock bag and that worked well..underwater on the beach kinda thing..but it was a crappy camera and i wouldn't suggest it for more expensive camersa
