Wallpaper removal? Answered

Hello everyone I need help in how to remove wallpaper and border the fastest and easiest way.  Thanks for the help.

I think that the perforating rollers are called "Paper Tigers".
Does it really need to come off? Can you paper over it? Paint over it? Some houses that I have worked on have had 20 or 30 layers of paint and wallpaper intermixed.

rent a steamer and pre-perforate the paper using a roller made for the purpose. Hardware store or home improvement center should be able to point you to the tool required for perforating the paper.

Also, if the paper was put up with a traditional starch-based adhesive, I believe there are enzyme solutions which will "eat" that glue and help to release the paper. Again, perforate first.
