What frequency do these SuperSwitch Remotes use? Answered
I have a bunch of these outlets http://www.amazon.com/SuperSwitch-519768-Wireless-Programmable-PowerPackPro/dp/B004CN3IB4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1299172933&sr=8-1
but only one working remote. I've "sniffed" the serial data the receiver sees at the decoder chip and it looks like a simple protocol. I could probably build my own remote using a PIC microcontroller to send the right serial data but I'd need an RF module to transmit it at the right frequency. I took the receiver apart hoping I'd find a crystal or some marking on the board to indicate frequency but couldn't find anything. The "tank" circuit (if I've got that right) consists of a few turns of wire and a surface mount capacitor. That means nothing to me with my limited skill set. Hoping someone knows what frequency these devices work on or knows how to find out.
