http://www.owtraditions.com. I am always looking to add new upgrades to our home, this website has great faux beams, corbels and brackets, exterior shutters too. Faux wood beams are great additions to any home.

Ok, try scrolling down and looking at Goodhart's post for the site http://www.cyberlink.com/. There's "prices for things" there too. I feel so picked on! LOL.

I still love this one: 1337 hax!

My boyfriend made this YTMND for our kitties. Kitty Sleeps Around. It has Leia in it, too, I think it's a cute way to remember her - he also made a tribute site to her, but I can't watch it because it makes me cry. We lost her in January from FIP. :(

Yeah. :( I'd say this was even worse than leukemia, just because it was so out of the blue. She went from being perfectly fine on Christmas to having to be put to sleep on January 3rd. And I had never been told about FIP! I've been trying to do my best to educate the cat lovers I know about it, though. It's such a scary thing to not know what's going on. But thankfully, it looks like my other babies don't have it, and when I go back home next time I'm going to be taking Leia's ashes and putting her somewhere really nice. It will be good. :)

If nothing else, she didn't suffer with it for very long. Again I am sorry for your loss. My wife likes Cavies, so we are familiar with the loss of a "family member" as such. They rarely live more than about 6 years, but we have had 2 now that have graced us with 8 years a piece; still most of the guinea pigs in the USA now are from old "test" stock, so many times very odd conditions surface. We have had 3 die from epilepsy, 2 from cancer, one from something unknown that took his life within his first 3 years, many many kidney and bladder stones, etc. It can be heart-breaking...

Wow, that's really rough. :( But even with all those things happening, it's still hard to give up having them, huh? I think that's one of the weirdest parts of having pets - you go through the loss of a loved pet, and you say you can't do it again... and then you find some lonely animal at a shelter or someone you know has babies and all off a sudden... more animals. I guess essentially it's the same with humans, though - you know you'll probably end up with a broken heart but you do it anyway. But it's always nice to have that time with an animal (or a human, I guess!), even if it's short. :)

Yes, I agree. My wife and I hadn't known this before a few years ago, but a lot of people in my area turn Guinea pigs into the local shelter. So, along with our vet, we have taken in as many as we can house and feed comfortably (we have 6 at the moment, 3 boys, 3 gals, in two separate areas). They have such a wide range of personalities too, which a lot of people don't see, because they only have say, one cavy. But they should have at least one partner, and the way they interact and develop, well it is just great to be a part of all that.
