Where does computer speakers (2) and a subwoofer plugin? Answered

If you are using a laptop or netbook use the headphone jack.  If you are on a PC, take a look at the back side of your computer and you will see some 3.5mm jacks. There will be at least three and possibly as many as seven jacks, depending upon the capabilities of your sound card. These jacks are color coded. Listed below is what each jack is for:


sound card color code:

Lime Green>>> Line-Out, Front Speakers, Headphones
Pink>>> Microphone
Light Blue>>> Stereo Line In
Orange>>> Subwoofer and Center out
Black>>> Rear Surround Speakers for 5.1 and 7.1 systems
Gray>>> Middle Surround Speakers for 7.1 systems
Gold>>> Midi / Game port (Joystick)
