Why no link from Makezine to here?? Answered

Why did Instructables divorce themselves from Makezine? There used to be a direct link from Makezine to here.?

I'll guess that it's no longer necessary for publicity. Came to the end of it's useful life perhaps.

To put in terms of "us versus them",  they're too cool to link here anymore.  They think they're better than we are.

I think the two groups are drifting apart, much like what happened aeons ago with the Vulcans and the Romulans.

It's hard to tell sometimes, whether I'm being serious or not.

I don't want to say anything bad about Makezine. I mean what's the worst I can say?  They've got really good articles, and everything they do is polished, basically a quality production on every level.  I've even heard rumors that they actually pay the people who write articles for them.

By comparison, Instructables seems to be mostly written by angsty teenagers who are too lazy to turn on the spell-check, or to produce their own pictures.

What can I say if the staff of Makezine really do feel superior? And that these feelings of superiority have resulted in a decision not to link to Instructables anymore...

Although I should mention that's just speculation on my part, and I have no idea what the true reason is for them linking or not linking to Instructables, or even if there is a reason. Maybe it was an oversight?

Or maybe you were asking if I was serious about the history of the rift between the Vulcans and the Romulans.

I know Star Trek isn't real.
