If you CANT stop put a restriction on you explosions, do them in safe areas, ware proper equipment, don't do it around others.

Please help...I love to BURN stuff and put it out.I use gas and have had some close calls...I have tried to hide lighters and gas, lighter fluid, ect.I have even tried to find a hobby...I also get Gunpowder out of bullets and 12. guage shotgun shells and ignite it...I cant find the soulution to the problem...plezzz help!!!

here's something you should not do:get a molokov and put packing peanuts in it.that makes a napalm bomb.

Excellent Idea sir, although, that may not help him "not" being a pyro, but pyros have more fun.

Thermite and your computer. Tell us how it turns out.

hey im quite the pyro im a professional circus artiste and honestly doing flips and juggling and all the stuff easily replaces fire, tho im also a professional fire breather, but seriously do something physical its help allot try acrobatics, or juggling and eventually fire juggling or joine a fire group were you use fire constructively and safely.

well I was a professional pyromaniac until I made something that was a little unstable and and I lost my 3 of my fingertips and 3 of my nails the nails grew back but 2 of my fingers is a little thinner now but most people does not notice .. anyway I got a hobby to replace my pyrotechnic ways this is a wonderful hobby and it fulfills all my pyrotechnic needs safely ..... well sorta but but opening a glass jar also have risks I got interested in metal casting it involves everything I like. like fire (but it is contained in a furnace(homemade) ) and the end result is very satisfying have a look at www.backyardmetalcasting.com there you can find all you need to know about metal casting and then you can decide if you will like it or not.

Find a nice girl who disapproves :) It worked for me, at the behest of a girl I was trying to impress who shall remain nameless, I gave up burning things for Lent and never really went back. Or rather, I gave up indiscriminately blowing stuff up and got a bit more refined with my methods- the black powder rocketry and spud guns came after that point but I stopped having bonfires in my garden and putting deodorant cans in them. I am making the cavalier assumption that you are a teenage male here, but is that an inaccurate assumption?

im 10 but im on my brothers account

There's two of you? Ever slingshot burning-stuff? L

Don't say that, he's trying to give up burning stuff. That said, chucking burning barbecue charcoal into the sea at Sidmouth beach from a proper sling (leather sling on the end of a metre of string) was a very cool effect...

Mmm. Not tried that. Although hurling flint into a beach (I forget where) in the very dark did produce sparks. L

did the flint hit a rock or just hit the sea?

Yeah it was a stony flinty beach, Wales maybe? (I forget). L

oh ive been looking all over the place for some flint because i cant be bothered to buy a flint and steel

Look at gravel - it often has flint in it.

L

what sort of gravel would we be talking about here?

The sort of driveway gravel with mixed types of stones in it. Expensive gravel is often just one sort of white/grey stone, you don't want that- anywhere there's a regular gravel driveway or footpath or something, look for black glassy-looking stone, possibly with a thin pale brown crust on some sides.

oh ive got some in my garden when you crack it open its sort of gray and white sort of thing

no i was just lying so no one would ban me for being underage and yes i get tissue roll it up into balls then soak it in hairspray then fire them out of my window

how do you stop being a pyro maniac???????? Well, first off, try and hide all of your explosives and second off, find a new hobby. For example, try doing some sports, playing computer games, or build stuff that is less destructive and more constructive. Basically, take a break from the weaponry for a bit. This is hard to do. Just cut off your access to matches and other flammable objects.

well flammable objects are all around me because i make things in my garage and in my garage there are lighters, lighter fluid, welders, oil , matches and nearly anything you can think of

Build something completely unrelated- I built a trebuchet out of chairs when I gave up pyro things, it was rubbish but taught me a lot about engineering and was fun to build.

Find constructive ways to exercise your interests. Basically, every good engineer I know was a dangerous little pyro before they learned to build bigger toys safely - the hard part is keeping your eyebrows (and house, and trees, and arrest record) intact until then. ;) My suggestion - troll around Instructables for some fun projects that appeal to your pyro tendencies, but also teach you something solid about science/engineering/etc and have decent safety features and explanations. Understand WHY things work - the fire and explosions are then bonuses, and you'll know how to keep them safely controlled. Maybe cross over into things involving projectiles, or LEDs.

i love projectiles hut not leds os are you erics wife because someone said you are
