Unless your a talented sculpture (you may not know until you try) Your going to find this difficult - Perhaps the best compromise would be to print out a flat picture of your guitar hero and use this as a backdrop to the guitar stand.

Thanks for your reply, rickharris. Since Ill know only after I try, Ill go ahead and give it a shot. How bad can it turn out to be anyways?
I'm thinking plaster of paris maybe..

Your quite correct to have a go. You may well have the talent.

Soft materials generally work best - Clay over a wire frame. Papiermache, Salt dough can all easily be obtained and used. your plaster cast can be made from the original model.

Agreed. Another alternative might be looking for a statue (eBay?) and incorporating it into a stand. Sculpting realistic human forms is tricky. If you want to play with it, I'd recommend trying a small scale model in sculpey (oven bakable ceramic) first. If you do go ahead with a full size version, the scale model will be a nice companion piece.

Does sound like a cool project: best of luck!

Thanks for your reply, oldmicah. That's a great suggestion, thank you! I will try that out!
