Just kick it. A scientifically proven fact: If you kick something that does not work (i.e your car, the TV, a blender) it will start working again 74.8% of the time.

On a second thought, watch your foot if you're kicking a blender.

You are of course referring to "percussive maintenance". This technique is used often in movies and TV shows, and probably in real life too.

I'm talking about when you get really mad trying to fix something for three hours, give up, kick it... and it works again.

On second thought, don't bother with repairing anything. Throw it away and buy new. Help keep the throw away economy thriving. It's the only way to go.

Duct tape fixes all - check Mythbusters if you think otherwise.

But on the good side I would say this must be the most useless question so far this year.
