I'm not sure about a good fly trap. But once I loaded some wet toilet paper

in a BB gun and used it like a shotgun on a fly. Did'nt hit the fly, just made

a big mess on the window. Still ,it was fun..... : )

I've used apple cider vinegar in my funnel trap with great success for the tiny flies that buzz around the bin on the old peels.

What type of flies are you talking about? the ones that like the smell of a fresh number 2.

You'd have to be very eccentric to have a bit of a number 2 in a funnel trap, probably rule out having visitors too... maybe ever, once the word gets out.

But like Kiteman says, change the bait till it works.

Why not use a wasp trap, but change the bait?

Try different baits until you find one that works for the particular kinds of fly csusing you pgoblems
