how can i make a video projector? Answered

how can i make a video projector for less then $80.00? i want the projected screen size to be about 1 meter across and exceptional quality.

I'm mainly having trouble with finding a SMALL but HD screen. i also want the LCD to be about 5 inches across. it doesn't have to be exact, but i want it to fit inside a shoe box (hopefully cheep  =D  ).

i did find on eBay a small, DVD player with an 8.5 inch screen with Analog Audio and , Composite inputs which might work.

i also need help for LED's, preferably from www.superbrightleds.com can anyone HELP ME!!?!

If you weren't concerned with size, I'd say to try something like this.

Go dumpster diving then. If you're lucky, you'll find a working lcd screen and an overhead projector with good bulbs. Check the dumpsters near tech businesses close to trash day, you might hit a jackpot, in which case you should bring the car and load it up(to sell stuff on ebay to remedy that emaciated wallet).

Exceptional quality for less than $80? Why do you think these devices cost so much?
Not with LEDs either, read kelsey and see what other people have made first.

Do you mean a "protector" or a "projector"?  If the latter, type "video projector" into the search box right above your question (or on any other Instructables page), and you should get several answers.
