how come the letter L in google is green? Answered

i realized that the letter L in google is green. Can anyone please tell me how come the letter L in google is green

With subtractive colour mixing, green is a secondary colour (blue and yellow).
According to the person who designed the logo :

"There were a lot of different color iterations", says Ruth Kedar, the graphic designer who developed the now-famous logo. "We ended up with the primary colors, but instead of having the pattern go in order, we put a secondary color on the L, which brought back the idea that Google doesn't follow the rules."

Primary colours. no other reason. There used to be more green, but its aesthetically pleasing like this.
